In case you some who stumbled upon this website and you do not know me personally I guess I will go ahead and explain.

My name is Ryan Davis and I am a 28 year old male working at Juniper Networks, Inc. (JNPR) as a “Security Consultant” or “Consulting Engineer” or “Resident Engineer”. I recently moved to Overland Park, Kansas to pursue the job and am so far enjoying it. I was originally born in Lawton, Oklahoma in 1980. Around the age of six I moved with my family to St. Louis, Missouri to join other family members living there.

As you may have surmised by the different aspects of the site, my career and constant acquisition of knowledge are key goals in my life right now. Other than this I feel myself to be a well rounded individual. I enjoy moderate hiking and outdoor activities when time permits. I love reading books, mostly non-fiction. I am trying to learn Japanese and am attempting to cultivate various bonsai plants. I train in Judo twice a week, and I exercise at the gym as well. I do not watch television, movies, and listen to music as much as I used to, however when I do I attempt to consume quality entertainment and enjoy it thoroughly. I like playing videos games but unfortunately time has become slim lately.

Other than that, there is probably more… I am pretty much an open book, but I guess you would have to ask me yourself.
